One of my dental patients brought these souvenirs in to show me. These bills are from way back before WW2, before the establishment of People’s Republic of China. At first, I thought the money was fake because it has English writing on the back. Turns out, that’s what it looked like before. My patient told me her father, who was stationed in Asia during WW2 or prior (I don’t quite remember) got some of this money and brought it back to her.
