Currently, I am a practicing dentist located in the W. Houston area of Texas. I established my own clinic in 2019.
Dentistry is challenging in many ways. Becoming a dentist in the U.S. is a long road. Then when you come out, you find that many patients are hesitant to come see you because they have dental fear and would go to extreme lengths to avoid you. Overall, I think it’s a very rewarding career because you can help so many people. I’ve already done 25+ fillings and a crown on my parents! They sure saved a bunch of money. Also I extracted my brother’s wisdom teeth! His wisdom teeth were horizontally impacted and quite difficult to remove. I think he is displaying extreme happiness in the picture!
