These are my current turtles! Map turtle, red ear slider, and painted turtle maybe (top, middle, bottom). I took them out to bask today for some UV. UV is important for their shells. The map turtle has a shell injury that I am treating. He once climbed out of my stock tank and fell on his side. Now I maintain the water much lower so he can’t be mischevious anymore.
I bought them as hatchlings in May 2020. They have grown so much over a year. The painted turtle even changed colors! This is what they looked like before. I’m not 100% sure what species the middle one really is, whether it is a painted turtle or a cooter. When he gets bigger we’ll see more development.
